What do I do if I see a product that is not American-made offered on MadeInTheUSA.com?

MadeInTheUSA.com is unable to confirm the claims of each product being manufactured in the United States. MadeInTheUSA.com, however, has created an alert system for each product for our shoppers to report items as potentially not made in the United States. The identified product will then be researched and confirmed or removed from the product selection on our website. We are constantly working towards improving this process. 2. How do I know for sure if a product is Made in the USA?

Currently MadeintheUSA.com pulls in products from the Amazon.com database so that we can populate the most extensive selection and widest assortment of products for you. We have pre-selected keywords and product barcodes to ensure only American-made goods come through the filters. There are occasions when products are not American-made appear in our database. 4. I’m having a hard time finding what I’m looking for. What are your tips for using the product search?

The product search uses keywords that are pulled in from the product title and description. Make sure you double check your spelling. It is often helpful to remove the "s" and search for singular products instead of plural (Example: "bow tie" instead of "bow ties"). You can also sort by department, as well as popularity or price. To speed up your search, try to be as precise as possible with keywords, avoiding generic terms like "bag" or "book."

5. Is there a way to simply browse product categories instead of using the search bar?

We do our best to regularly collect featured products for each browsable category to make for an easier and more natural product browsing experience. If you are unable to find a product or would like to submit a USA-made product to be featured please contact us at [email protected].

6. What do I do if I can’t find American-made options for the products I am looking for?

We are constantly working on making our site function to its utmost potential, but if you happen to be unable to track down an American-made product via our search, we’d love to hear from you and either help you find a domestic-made option or work towards adding the product to our site. 7. How do we get quality MADE IN THE USA goods added to your site, if we can’t find them?

Since we populate our product search with Amazon, the best way to get your quality American-made goods featured on MadeintheUSA.com is to add them to Amazon itself via its affiliate program. Once set up, please contact us at [email protected] and we will work on pulling in your specific product on an individual basis!

8. I’m having issues using the site - images or content are not loading.

Making certain our site works perfectly for our customers is the highest priority. If for some reason there are technical issues with our site experience, please check for common reasons and refresh your browser, such as clearing your browser cache, internet connection, etc. If you are continuing to have issues please email us at [email protected] and we will work to resolve the issue. 9. Why is Amazon.com the only option for searching products?

Currently our entire database of American-made products is powered by Amazon’s extensive collection of products, as we are an Amazon affiliate. 11. Why does my shopping cart on MadeInTheUSA.com transfer me to Amazon.com?

Since we are powered by Amazon, once you select a product for purchase/add it to your cart, you will be forwarded to the product page on Amazon and go through their shopping cart process. All your purchases through MadeInTheUSA.com help recycle our dollars so they do in fact stay in the USA. 12. What do I do if the price stated MadeInTheUSA.com is different than the price shown in my cart on Amazon.com?

Because of the increasingly large database of products being pulled in from Amazon many of the products are updated regularly and our site may not always reflect the most accurate or up to the second price or information. We strive to always filter in only the best price options to ensure you are getting a deal. 13. How will MadeInTheUSA.com purchases appear on my checking account or credit card statement?

The purchases will reflect the final seller of the item from Amazon, whether that be Amazon itself or one of their trusted 3rd party affiliates they have cataloging the specific product.

14. Do you offer gift cards or gift-wrapping services?

At this time MadeintheUSA.com does not offer gift cards or gift wrapping services. Since the purchases are going to Amazon, they will be able to provide these items during your check-out process. You can find information on Amazon Gift Cards and Amazon’s gifting options.

15. How do I exchange or return an item purchased through MadeInTheUSA.com?
